My experience in the Sophomore Academy was honestly great. There is so much more freedom down here than at the home school. Also I feel like we learned a lot more than at the home school. For example, in History we learned about stuff that really matters and it wasn’t as confusing. The projects we would do helped me understand a lot better. Teachers are always there to help you when you need it. I like the way sometimes we would combine a project with two different class subjects. For example, the flash fiction was great. While being down here, I also met a lot of new people from different schools and actually got to work with them, which before I don’t think I would have ever even met. Being down here helped me realize a lot of things, but I still don’t know if I fully want to go into the medical field yet. I don’t completely hate it, but I don’t completely love it either so I’m trying again next year and hopefully it helps me see if this is what I truly want.
