State Standard

Initiate and participate effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on grades 9-10 topics, texts, and issues, building on others’ ideas and expressing their own clearly and persuasively.

Explanation of Standard:

Talk to a peer often two in a group with different partners. Discuss uncommon and common beliefs with each other to clearly persuade the other.

Explanation of Mastery:

My partner and I discussed multiple Shakespearean plays, like ‘The Tempest’. We brought a new light, along with more information to each other. After the discussion of the plays we were to use our own, and our partners ideas to create a  small passage explaining the mirroring events between two plays.
